Um… They are talking about animal-assisted therapy. It is a type of therapy that involves animals as a form of treatment for various conditions mental and physical… And, yes, this includes helping people cope with their grief. It has been used in settings such as prisons, nursing homes, mental institutions, private practices, hospitals and in the home.
